   I have the same problem with Shino, but with Mario Strikers Charged (JPN version) -(i have a pal wii)..Ii doesn’t show me any update for the game, and after I click starts it shows a black screen and nothing else..What should I do??

   If you get a black screen with your wii, that is because it is set to play in “50hz” mode, go into your wii settings [i can't remember precisely where it is, probably something like Graphics or Video] and change it to 60hz. I had this problem with Super Smash Bros Brawl, it works now it’s in 60hz.

    I have a Japanese Wii and I am attempting to play my PAL copy of Super Smash Brothers Brawl using a Freeloader that is for a Japanese Wii. My Wii is version 3.1 so it should not be affected by the firmware update problems. I have attempted both methods of booting it, entering the freeloader disc once and then entering SSBB, and entering the freeloader disc twice before entering the SSBB disc. Both result in the game seemingly loading with the title screen appearing, and then as I attempt to play it the screen goes black and the Wii freezes up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

    Hi, I have a US Wii console and purchased Freeloader in July. Purchased Guitar Hero World Tour in Australia (PAL version) for Christmas. Have not uploaded any online updates of Wii Firmware. After loading Freeloader and then Guitar Hero, the system recognises Guitar Hero (including sound) and offers the usual “Start or Wii Menu” selection. I select Start and then my screen goes black and nothing happens. Anyone know if there’s a software update on Guitar Hero that may render Freeloader useless or any other reason / solution to this? Thanks.

    I bought the Wii freeloader disk in the Uk, as well as the Bleach Versus Crusade game from Japan. However, whenever I put the freeloader disk into the Wii, a system error appears, the disk failing to spin for more than a second or two. I haven’t updtaed the Wii, so I shouldn’t have the updated blocking thing problem, so I’m unsure what is occuring.

    Just a straight question, I have a Wii that has firmware 3.3E and my older FreeLoader disc (bought for my old GameCube but says it works for Wii) doesn’t work at all giving a Error that tells me to remove the disc and reset.
    I’m willing to buy a later version that works now, but does a version that now works on the latest Wii exist?

    We have a US set. Freeloader has always worked and we could play PAL games. HOWEVER … the new Super Mario Bros game doesn’t. It loads OK and appears in the DISC menu but when you click on it the screen goes blank. Is this disc loaded with firmware update ? Is there a way around it ? THANKS !!!

    Hi. I just purchased DJ Hero. I have a NTSC console and loaded a PAL disc. I used the Freeloader in update mode. It updated okay but then went to black screen. Now when I turn the Wii on it just shows a black screen. Tried hard reset etc, no difference. Is there any fix for this?

    Hi, was travelling in China recently and picked up some Wii games for my kids, tried them in my Wii but keep getting a message “cannot read disc”. I looked through my manuals for any help with trouble shooting and came up empty. Can you tell me how I can get the Wii games to work. My kids were so excited but then I had to tell them that they were no good, to say the least they were not impressed.

    My system is ver 2.1, so can’t be cause of that.
    It does this to every game I have. I have european wii, freeloader for european consoles and usa games.
    as I enter the freeloader to the console, it does everything it’s supposed to all the way till I try to play a game…. So what can I do now?

    OK…. so don’t laugh…. I am a few YEARS behind you guys. I just want to know if my USA version of Wii will work when I go to China next month. Do I need “freeloader”. It is not a big deal, I only wanted to play in my hotel room when there was nothing else to do. I will probably play Mario Carty and Wii sports. Should I buy the “:freeloader”? What does it do?? Is it going to cause other problems if I download it?
    I have no updates that I know of, but the Wii console was purchased in USA in Jan. 2010
