Yes the Wii Freeloader works, see for yourself!

People are still wondering if the [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag] from [tag]Datel[/tag] really works, but there’s tons of videos on the internet showing that this great piece of software works just fine. This [tag]Wii[/tag]-gamer is demonstrating his Wii Freeloader with the Japanese version of [tag]House of the Dead 2&3 Return[/tag] from SEGA for the [tag]Nintendo Wii[/tag].

PAL, Wii, Wii Freeloader, Datel, Play-Asia, Import Wii FreeloaderSince today Play-Asia, a famous gaming webshop, has started taking orders for the [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag] from Datel. They have the Japanese, US and [tag]PAL[/tag]-versions of the Wii Freeloader priced at $19.90. Thanks to the [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag] you can plan any game from any country on any Wii. If you have a US Wii, you have to import the NSTC-version of the [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag] to be able to play Japanese and European PAL-games on your Nintendo [tag]Wii[/tag] system. The software is 100% unofficial, but it works perfect and future updates won’t disable the Freeloader.

For some reason Suda 51 had to get out the blood in [tag]No More Heroes[/tag] for the [tag]Wii[/tag], and this European gamer wanted to have a juicy blood-red No More Heroes so he imported the NSTC-version and got himself the [tag]Datel[/tag] [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag].

European gamers looking forward too Wii Freeloader

Posted by BillyC on Feb-28-2008

When you watch this video it will become clear that European gamers are really looking forward to the release of [tag]Datel[/tag]’s [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag]. American gamers are getting [tag]Super Smash Bros. Brawl[/tag] really soon, but they still have to wait until fall to get their hands on SSBB! Many other great [tag]Wii[/tag]-titles had some delay in Europe as well, but thanks to the Freeloader they’ll soon be able to play new games around the same time like we!

Datel, Freeloader, GameCube Freeloader, Nintendo, WiiYesterday we reported that a new Nintendo Wii update breaks Freeloader software, which is very bad news for a lot of PAL users. It was unknown if this was an accident or something done on purpose by [tag]Nintendo[/tag] to have a good laugh with game importers. Nintendo said to Eurogamer that [tag]Datel[/tag]’s [tag]GameCube Freeloader[/tag] isn’t an official product approved by [tag]Nintendo[/tag], so they’re not planning to fix the system software to make our [tag]Freeloader[/tag] work again.

A new [tag]Wii[/tag] firmware update from [tag]Nintendo[/tag] made a few [tag]Wii[/tag]-systems freak out when you insert a Freeloader. A lot of people are complaining that the new system software is breaking their [tag]GameCube Freeloader[/tag]. [tag]Nintendo[/tag] didn’t announce this feature in the new firmware update, and some people think [tag]Nintendo[/tag] didn’t do it on purpose. Whatever the cause of this error is, it sucks for people who used to use their [tag]Freeloader[/tag] on their Wii.
