Wii Freeloader, Wii, Nintendo, Codejunkies, Datel, Play Imported gamesIt looks like [tag]Nintendo[/tag] has already published a firmware update for the [tag]Wii[/tag] that should block the use of a [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag]. [tag]Codejunkies[/tag] promised us that the [tag]Wii Freeloader[/tag] had a protection against all future system software updates of the Wii, but apparantely they made a smalle mistake that killed the whole system.

Update: It appears that this was just an early April fool’s joke. Most Wii Freeloader users are reporting that the new Wii firmware update didn’t block their Wii Freeloader. So don’t be affraid and import that Wii Freeloader now!

  2. BillyC Said,

    Hm weird =/

  3. Reece Said,

Had SSBB for about a month now, running perfectly via the Freeloader, but resently, due to no updates I know of that have took place, Freeloader just doesn’t seem to be working, no modifications have taken place on the Wii that I know of. Running on V 3.2E, any answers would be great…

    Cheers

  4. Ron Said,

    Hi,
I tried to install Wii Freeloader yesterday on version 3.3E and it doesn’t work. Think that Datel has ripped me off! Does anyone know of a way to “downgrade” a Wii system? Any way to start from scratch???

  5. Agent Blazkowicz Said,

Same Sh** here. Also updated to 3.3 just before buying the Freeloader. And No More Heroes is also on its way from Canada … Crap!

  6. tarek Said,

Freeloader won’t work with the new update. You can revert back by simply formatting memory and returning to defalut settings. That will roll your firmware software back…

  7. formater Said,

i tryed to do what you said and i ended up whit a empty memory in my and the firmware was still 3.3e
